Dr. K.N. Ganeshiah, an eminent agricultural scientist and novelist from Bengaluru's University of Agricultural Sciences, recently advocated for integrated water management in Kolar. Speaking at Alva's Education Foundation in Moodbidri on Tuesday, Dr. Ganeshiah urged harnessing local rainwater and recharging groundwater instead of importing water from external sources, warning of significant ecological risks to unseen connections within natural ecosystems.
