New Delhi: DV Sadananda Gowda, the Union Minister for Chemicals and Fertilizers, resigned from the Union Council of Ministers on Wednesday.

Gowda announced his decision to resign. Gowda has held various portfolios in the Narendra Modi government, including Railways, Law, Statistics, and Program Implementation, in addition to chemicals and fertilizers. His resignation comes before of the Union Cabinet’s expansion, which is set to take place this evening.
