On Saturday, Rohan Corporation hosted a felicitation ceremony at Rohan City, Bijai, to honor the 72nd National Film Award winners from the region. The event, chaired by Rohan Corporation Director Dion Montero, recognized the outstanding contributions of Rupshree Varkady, Master Atish S Shetty, Dr. Pradeep Kenchanur, Shivdhwaja Shetty, and producer Prashant Rai. Rupshree Varkady and Master Atish S Shetty were awarded for their roles in the film ‘Mithya’, with Varkady winning the Best Supporting Actress award and Shetty receiving the best child artist award. Dr. Pradeep Kenchanur was honored for writing the Best Book on Film, while Shivdhwaja Shetty and Prashant Rai were recognized for their work on ‘Imbu’, the best Tulu film at the 72nd National Film Awards. The awardees expressed their gratitude to Rohan Corporation for the honor and shared their experiences. Dion Montero congratulated the winners, stating that their achievements have brought pride to the region. He also hoped that their success would inspire budding artists and filmmakers in the region. The event was attended by National Film Award winners, media representatives, guests, and company employees, with Sumana, General Manager of Rohan Corporation, and host Lavita D’Souza also present.
