On a recent encounter, Raghu Ram met Abhijeet Dipke, the founder of the Cockroach Janta Party, after a viral video caused confusion about their connection to the reality show Roadies. The meeting took place after a clip surfaced online, showing Raghu rejecting a contestant, which was mistakenly identified as Abhijeet. In the new video, Abhijeet starts by saying, “Main Roadies mein aaya tha, aapne reject kar diya, jiski clip viral ho rahi hai.” Raghu responds by acknowledging the mistake and poking fun at his own reputation for being tough on the show. He says, “Woh actually tu sahi hai, main AI hoon. Itne pyaar se main baat kar hi nahi sakta,” implying that he couldn’t have been that nice, and must be artificial intelligence. The two then break character, and Raghu gives Abhijeet a hug, saying, “Mazak kar raha hoon. We love you, bro. Tum logon ne jo kiya hai, theek hai… I just came to be a part of it.” Abhijeet Dipke started the Cockroach Janta Party as a joke on social media, but it has turned into a national protest movement, with young people calling out issues like youth unemployment and the education system. Currently, Dipke is leading a protest at Jantar Mantar, demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over exam paper leak scandals.
