New Delhi: Stepping up its campaign for key state elections ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha polls, the BJP on Friday appointed Pralhad Joshi as Union minister in-charge of Rajasthan and Bhupender Yadav as in-charge of Madhya Pradesh.
Former union minister Prakash Javadekar and another senior party leader Om Prakash Mathur have been appointed as election in-charges for Telangana and Chhattisgarh respectively, the BJP said in a release.
Former Gujarat Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel and Haryana leader Kuldeep Bishnoi have been appointed as co-in-charges for Rajasthan elections and Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya as joint in-charges for Chhattisgarh by BJP president JP Nadda.
Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav will act as joint in-charge of Madhya Pradesh while party national general secretary Sunil Bansal has been appointed as joint in-charge of Telangana, the release said.
