HYDERABAD: On the World Hypertension Day on May 17, doctors say they have seen a rise in hypertension cases, especially among younger people, from working as a home to sedentary lifestyles.
The condition, referred to as high blood pressure, is higher than usual in the artery walls.
Consultant cardiologist at KIMS Hospital Dr Sadiq Azam said that post-Covid, the hospital was now receiving up to four young hypertension patients every month, in contrast to just one out of every two.
