Police lathicharged on BJP’s March in Patna, Water Cannon was also used
Patna : Police lathi-charged during BJP’s protest in Bihar’s capital Patna. Many people have been injured in this lathi-charge. In Patna on Thursday, BJP workers and leaders were taking out a march along with protesting against the current Nitish government. Police also used water cannons and tear gas shells to remove the protesters from the protest site and prevent them from gheraoing the assembly. Many MPs and MLAs of BJP also participated in this march of BJP in Patna. Rajya Sabha MP Rakesh Sinha, Bihar BJP President Samrat Chaudhary and many MLAs also participated in this march. BJP leaders of Bihar have described the lathicharge on the workers as an example of the repressive policy of CM Nitish Kumar.
