Kokkada :Due to the extension of the lockdown in Dakshina Kannada district, the KSRTC bus transporting pilgrims from Bangalore to Dharmasthala was redirected back to Bangalore on Monday morning, after a clear direction from district authorities that pilgrims had no access to any worship venues in the district.

About 16 devotees were on their way to the Dharmasthala  on Monday as news of the state was unlocked. Four passengers from Karkala were traveling in the same bus. The 20 passengers were on the bus when it left from bangalore to Dharmasthala  Task Force committee volunteers stopped the bus near Kokkada. After convinced the passengers they sent back 16 pilgrims to Bangalore in the same bus. Four people who had come  in the bus they went with their relatives vehicle back to their home in karkala
