Pawan Kalyan said that people of Andhra Pradesh are not slaves of CM Jagan Mohan Reddy
Amravati, June. 26 : Jana Sena Party (JSP) President Pawan Kalyan said that the people of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy is not a slave. He attacked the CM while addressing a public meeting during his Varahi Yatra in Konaseema district.
“In the recent elections to various local bodies, the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) has created an environment where aspirants are threatened to withdraw from the fray. But Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy should know that people are not slaves in a democracy,” he said.
“As a person, I don’t hate you (Jagan Mohan Reddy). You will govern well and win the hearts of the people. If you try to implement politics in Pulivelu, a peaceful part of Godavari, you will be retaliated with our revolutionary ideology,” warned Pawan Kalyan.
JSP chief Pawan Kalyan said that instead of doing petty politics to gain the support of any one community, it is committed to unite the communities.
Pawan Kalyan spoke about the exploitation of oil and natural resources in the region. The state government has a policy of mandating 70% jobs for locals, but the oil and natural gas companies of the Godavari region (Krishna Godavari basin) have failed to provide employment to the residents of the region, he alleged.
“ONGC, Reliance, GAIL and Vedanta companies are exploring oil and natural gas resources in our region (KG Basin). I will inform Prime Minister Narendra Modi that these companies are not employing local people citing poor skills. If Jana Sena comes to power, we will request the Prime Minister to set up educational institutions for skill development.” Pawan Kalyan has promised.
Pawan Kalyan reiterated that there is potential to develop the Godavari basin as a tourist hub, thereby creating more employment opportunities for the local people.
Jana Sena President Pawan Kalyan, who is conducting a Varahi Yatra in the state, said that Amaravati will be retained as the capital of Andhra Pradesh if his party comes to power in the 2024 Andhra Pradesh assembly elections. At least 185 farmers who gave up their land for capital Amaravati have died in misery even after the YSRCP govt. Tucker has given the government steps to establish three capitals in the state.
