Mangaluru witnessed the P.A. Polytechnic's 2026 batch graduation ceremony on Friday, held at the PACE Auditorium. The event marked a significant milestone for students who successfully completed their academic journey, officially transitioning into their professional lives.
PAET Finance Director Ahmed Kutty inaugurated the proceedings and later presided over the ceremony. He underscored P.A. Polytechnic's steadfast dedication to academic excellence and skill development, urging graduates to integrate the institution's values and discipline into their careers. Mr. Kutty called upon them to contribute to society with honesty, competence, and responsibility.
Dr. Rohan S. Monis, Chief Administrative Officer of Kanachur Hospital and Research Centre, addressed the graduating class as the chief guest. Offering crucial advice for their entry into the professional world, Dr. Monis emphasized the importance of continuous learning, courage, discipline, emotional intelligence, social awareness, inclusivity, self-knowledge, and cultivating good human relations, beyond just technical expertise.
The ceremony recognized outstanding achievement, honoring the best outgoing student and various academic achievers from different departments. Following the distribution of degree certificates to all graduates, P.A. Polytechnic Principal Prof. Ismail Khan led the students in taking a solemn graduation oath. This pledge committed them to upholding professional ethics, pursuing excellence and responsibility, and dedicating themselves to serving society.
A distinguished gathering attended the event, including PAET Campus Sharafuddin P.K., Purchase Manager Haris T.D., Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Sayyad Ameen Ahmed, and Vice Principal Prof. Ajith Kumar Vasu. Coordinator Arfaz, heads of various departments, teaching staff, and proud parents were also present alongside the graduating students. The program began with a prayer by Prof. Usman, followed by Vice Principal Prof. Ajith Kumar Vasu's welcome address. Anisa introduced the chief guest, while Prof. Aishath Shameema and Nikita competently compered the event. Prof. Tejaswi Martha delivered the vote of thanks before the ceremony concluded with the national anthem.
