Over 600 GPs in the state of Karnataka will get new Aadhar centres.

Bengaluru: In villages around the state, the state government will establish new Aadhar centers. In a letter to all zillah panchayat chief executive officers, Principal Secretary of the Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department LK Atheeq emphasized the necessity for new centers because Aadhar is required for COVID-19 vaccination.

The first phase of the new Aadhar centers will involve 630 gram panchayats, with panchayat officials being given mobile devices to enroll in Aadhar or change Aadhar details. In the letter, Atheeq noted that citizens should not be charged more than Rs 50 for services.
