On Sunday, the Sahodaya campus of Saint Aloysius Pariganitha University College in Mangalore hosted the release of 'Nudi Chammalige', a Kannada translation of Endluri Sudhakar's work. The translation, done by Vikas R. Maurya, was released by Dr. Mulki, Principal of Government Undergraduate College. The event was a collaboration between Zeerunde Prakashan and the Kannada Department of Saint Aloysius University. Notable literary figures, including Vasudeva Belle and Amrita Shetty, spoke about the book. Belle praised the translation, stating that it reads like an original Kannada work. Vikas R. Maurya shared his approach to translation, emphasizing the importance of using the right language to convey the struggles of the Madiga community. The event was attended by Dr. Dinesh Naik, Head of the Kannada Department, and other prominent figures, including Dhananjaya N, the publisher, and H.M. Pernal, who welcomed the guests. Fathima Ralia hosted the program, which highlighted the significance of 'Nudi Chammalige' in Kannada literature.
