On a recent visit to Bengaluru, actress Nayanthara made a rare appearance at the grand trailer launch of Yash’s upcoming film, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, on August 26, 2026. The event, which also saw the presence of Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria, and Rukmini Vasanth, was a grand affair. Nayanthara, who plays the role of Ganga, Yash’s sister, in the Geetu Mohandas film, revealed that it took just one call from Yash to convince her to attend the promotional event.

Nayanthara initially expressed her hesitation to join the project, but after a convincing narration by Geetu, she agreed to be a part of it. She praised Yash, not just as an actor, but also as a person, saying he lives up to his superstar image in real life. The actress also appreciated her other co-stars, including Rukmini Vasanth, Tara Sutaria, Kiara Advani, and Huma Qureshi.

Nayanthara admitted that she is not very comfortable with promotional events, but made an exception for Toxic. The film, which promises a mix of crime, violence, romance, and family drama, is set to release on August 26, 2026. With a talented cast, including Yash and Nayanthara, and a director with a clear vision, Toxic is expected to be more than just another action flick.
