Bengaluru‑based Mysore Deep Perfumery House (MDPH) announced on 13 October 2026 that it will evaluate a dedicated export‑oriented manufacturing unit while showcasing an expanded portfolio at the 30th Beautyworld Dubai exhibition.

MDPH, the maker of the popular Zed Black agarbatti, has been shipping products to more than 40 nations for the past seven to eight years. Director Ankit Agrawal told reporters that export sales, which now represent roughly five percent of total turnover, have consistently risen at double‑digit rates despite recent global trade volatility.

At the Dubai trade show the company displayed its traditional incense and devotional lines alongside new offerings such as perfumes, diffusers, cosmetics and hygiene items. The Eau de Parfum collection under the Blunt Black brand features scents named Velvet Night, French Aqua, Dark Elixir and Neo Aura, while four fresh fragrances—including the coloured, handmade Wild Soul—were introduced with overseas buyers in mind.

Current overseas markets span the United States, Mexico, Brazil, Malaysia and Italy. MDPH is also scouting growth opportunities across the Middle East, North Africa, Africa and Central Asia, citing Russia, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan as target regions.

“Our goal goes beyond selling more units; we aim to build resilient businesses in each market and craft fragrances that match local tastes,” said Anshul Agrawal, another director of the firm. He added that the proposed facility would boost agarbatti output and house a specialised perfumery unit to support the next phase of global expansion.
