Mangalore:  Schools across the state are closed because of Covid 19. Children continue to learn lessons through online classes. But parents are of the opinion that it will only benefit students if they open schools.

Therefore In order to put pressure on the government to open  schools  as soon as possible in  Karnataka  the  School Save  State Committee and the Shri Durga Charitable Trust have launched Post Card Movement

The movement has started at the Elayakadu Higher Secondary School in Mangalore. More than 1,000 parents volunteered to join the movement. the post card will be sent to the Minister of Primary and Secondary Education, demanding the reopening of schools Suresh Kumar

The state president of the committee Prakash Anchan has demanded that schools be restarted for the benefit of the students. He alleged that the students were not benefiting from online classes and lessons in Chandana TV

“If the government fails to reopen the colleges, there will be protests. Instead of relying on online and scheduling projects, schools need to be reopened. Students should have a direct conversation with the teacher. The Chief Minister, Education Minister and elected representatives have been requested to reopen the schools from July 21, ”he said.
