On a recent day in Mangaluru, the city witnessed the launch of a Diploma in Islamic Studies course at Darul Ilm Madrasa, with the inauguration ceremony held at Lulu Centre in Falnir. The event was inaugurated by businessman and social worker Mansoor Azad, who shared his personal connection to the institution as an alumnus of its adult education division. Azad expressed his confidence in Darul Ilm Madrasa, saying it will uphold Islamic values and foster peace and harmony in society. Dr. Hashir Safwan, a renowned orthopedic and joint specialist, attended as the chief guest and emphasized the importance of acquiring knowledge, considering it obligatory for every individual in Islam. The principal of Darul Ilm Madrasa, Usthad Rafeeuddin Kudroli, delivered the valedictory speech, stating his aim to keep the spirit of Islam alive and pass it on to the next generation. The program commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Raihan Abdul Malik, a student of the Darul Ilm Islamic course, and was compered by Brother Saifuddin, a teacher at the madrasa.

The launch of the Diploma in Islamic Studies course is a significant development for Darul Ilm Madrasa, and the institution hopes to produce students who will emerge in society and continue its thoughts and educational concepts. With the guidance of experienced individuals like Usthad Rafeeuddin Kudroli, who has been in the field for 35 years, the course is expected to provide students with a deep understanding of Islamic studies. The event was a testament to the institution’s commitment to providing quality education and fostering a sense of community among its students.
