Mangaluru : Mangaluru International Airport (MIA) will begin flight operations on August 18 following the issuance of a new travel protocol by the UAE government, accommodating Indian passengers following the prescribed regulations. The UAE Civil Aviation Authority has approved flights from the Mangaluru International Airport (MIA), thanks to the world-class Rapid RT PCR set up by the airport and Apollo Diagnostics.
First flight will be by Air India Express on August 18th. Passengers waiting for flights from MIA to the Gulf will be delighted to learn that the flight will operate.
The Dubai Supreme Committee for Crisis and Disaster Management made the rapid PCR test mandatory at MIA after it was announced that they would be opening a testing center at the airport.
In addition to removing restrictions on Indian travellers, the UAE government made it mandatory for them to get a UAE residency visa, two doses of vaccination, and a RT-PCR negative certificate within 48 hours of traveling to enter the country.
MIA has instituted a number of safety measures, including the preventive measures stipulated in the Government’s health regulations, in order to safeguard passengers and limit the spread of the virus.
