On July 1, the Malabar Gold and Diamonds showroom in Mangaluru hosted a celebration to mark Doctor’s Day, Chartered Accountants’ Day, and Press Day. Sharathraj Shetty, President of Lions Club Mangalagangothri, was the chief guest at the event. He was joined on stage by Hafiz Rahman, Head of Malabar Gold and Diamonds Mangaluru branch, Co-Head Ahammed Nazar P.P., Showroom Manager Girish Rai, and Marketing Manager Sheikh Farhan. The event recognized the contributions of dignitaries from various fields, including medicine, chartered accountancy, and journalism. Dr. Shivaprakash D.S., District Medical Superintendent, Dr. Chandraprabha B. from Adyar Government Hospital, and Dr. Shyam Prasad Shetty, who serves in rural Adyar, were honored for their work in the medical field. CA Shantharam Shetty, CA Shabana, and CA Yashaswini K. Ameen were recognized for their contributions to chartered accountancy. In the media field, Mangaluru Press Club President P.B. Harish Rai, Prasanna Poojari, and Sreekanth Rao B.P. were honored. The chief guest and dignitaries praised the role of doctors, CAs, and journalists in society, highlighting their selfless service as a model for others.
