Mahabharata’s ‘Shakuni’ character Goofy Paintal passed away

Actor Goofy Paintal, who grabbed everyone’s attention by playing Shakuni in the TV serial ‘Mahabharat’, has passed away. He was 79 years old. For many years, Goofy suffered from age-related diseases.

Goofy was brought to the hospital weeks ago due to his deteriorating health. However, the treatment was ineffective and he died. His cousin Hiten Painthal shared this painful story.

‘Unfortunately Goofy is no more. He died at the hospital around 9 am. Hiten informed that he died without any pain. A few days ago, it was reported that Goofy was sick. He was expected to come back from the hospital. But it is false.

Goofy suffers from high blood pressure and heart disease. He has not been in good health for a long time. Now the situation is getting worse. He is being treated for the last seven or eight days. Now his health is stable. He died shortly after this.

From 1988 to 1990, the Mahabharata serial aired on DD-1 for about 2 years. Shakuni Mama’s character is also one of the people’s favorite. Guffy Pintal handled the role of Shakuni brilliantly. The serial was directed by R Chopra and Ravi Chopra.
