Lava, one of the big smartphone companies, is preparing to launch a new smartphone in the country. This could be Blaze Curve 5G. In November last year, the company had introduced Lava Blaze 2 5G. MediaTek Dimensity 6020 SoC has been given as the processor in this smartphone.

Lava has shared the teaser of the upcoming smartphone on social media platform X. This could happen with a curved display. The image given in this teaser states that it will be launched soon and will have 5G connectivity. However, this smart fone Information about its design or features has not been given. This smartphone can be launched in the first week of March. It may have a 64 megapixel primary camera. Smartphones may become expensive in the coming months due to increase in the cost of an important component used in smartphones. In the second quarter of this year, the price of 5G smartphones priced below Rs 10,000 may be more affected. The cost of memory chips used in smartphones sold in the country may increase. Memory chip makers Samsung and Micron of South Korea may increase the price of their DRAM chips by 20 percent in the current quarter. Due to this, smartphones may become expensive in the coming quarter.

Recently, due to reduction in duty on smartphone components, the impact of increase in prices may be reduced to some extent. Apart from this, smartphone makers can control costs by reducing the memory configuration in new smartphones. Smartphone shipments in the country have increased by about 25 percent in the fourth quarter of last year. China’s Xiaomi has reached the first position in this market with 18 percent share. Xiaomi has got the advantage of introducing smartphones in the low price category in the 5G segment with Redmi 13C. Vivo, another Chinese smartphone maker, remains at second position.
