A 55-year-old Kundapura resident, Ajith Paul Louis, tragically lost his life Monday morning in a collision involving his scooter and a car on National Highway 66, near the Mullikatte Arate bridge.
Louis, a resident of Bhandarkars Road, was reportedly on his way to his daughter's school near Mullikatte to inquire about her academic progress when the accident occurred. Following the severe impact, MH-I Emergency Apadbandhava ambulance driver Ibrahim Gangolli and Abrar Gangolli promptly transported him to a private hospital in Kundapura. Doctors, however, pronounced him deceased upon arrival.
