On July 26, at the Sreenarayana Guru Sabha Bhavana in Kundapura, the Billava Sangha Seva Samithi, under the aegis of the Sri Narayana Guru Educational and Cultural Trust, organized a student aid distribution and felicitation program. N.T. Poojari, the honorary president of the Billava Seva Samaja, emphasized that the organization has been instrumental in promoting education, social welfare, and community development. The event was inaugurated by Suresh Poojari Padekone.

Poojari commended the efforts of the younger generation in carrying forward the legacy of the community. Manjunath Poojari Mudradi, president of the Sri Narayana Guru Development Corporation, stressed the importance of following Narayana Guru’s message and being mindful of the changing times. Babu Poojari Sankumane, a Mumbai-based entrepreneur, urged students to make informed decisions and strive for excellence. Bharat Poojari, president of the Sri Narayana Guru Educational and Cultural Trust, advised students to prioritize learning and make wise choices.

The event saw the felicitation of 627 students who received scholarships, as well as students who excelled in exams such as the ESSEC and PUC. The gathering was attended by several dignitaries, including Ashok Poojari, president of the Billava Samaja Seva Sangha, and other office bearers. Secretary Yogish Poojari Kodie welcomed the guests, while teacher Sathish Poojari Vaddarse narrated the proceedings. Chief Secretary Anand Poojari Kodere offered the vote of thanks.

Ashok Poojari, president of the Billava Samaja Seva Sangha, emphasized the need for collective participation in social endeavors and expressed gratitude for the services of N.T. Poojari. He also highlighted the challenges faced by students and parents due to the NEET question paper leak and encouraged scholarship recipients to secure their future and support other students in the community.
