On July 18, Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president KT Rama Rao (KTR) threw a challenge at Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, asking him to provide proof that the Congress government has issued 70,000 job notifications and filled all those posts. KTR made this statement while addressing the Yuva Sangrama Sabha at Saroornagar stadium in Hyderabad. He claimed that the Congress government has only filled 16,979 jobs in the last 31 months, and if jobs notified during the BRS government are deducted, the figure comes down to 10,000. KTR showed videos of Congress leaders making differing claims on the jobs filled by the government, with Revanth Reddy claiming 70,000 jobs, Deputy Chief Minister claiming 56,000, and Labour Minister claiming 1 lakh jobs. KTR questioned the Congress government on its promises, including conducting Group 1 mains on a 1:100 ratio, increasing Group 2 posts to 2,000, and the mega DSC of 25,000 jobs. He also asked about the Rajiv Yuva Vikasam scheme and the distribution of scooties to girl students as promised in the Congress’ Youth Manifesto. KTR criticized Rahul Gandhi, saying that the Congress is not a place of love, but a house of deceit. He asked the youngsters to issue a death declaration to Priyanka Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, and Revanth Reddy for failing to fulfill their promises.
