Karnataka: Important information for motorists who have violated traffic rules
Bengaluru: The motorists have got good news again, the government has issued an order giving a 50% discount on fines for violating traffic rules.
A discount of 50 per cent was ordered on the amount of penalty for pending cases recorded in the traffic e-challan of the police department. Ordered another 50 percent discount on the penalty amount in the cases. This opportunity has been given only to the cases registered in the e-challan of the traffic police department by February 11, 2023.
How to pay penalty at discount rate..? Here is the information
1) Payment can be made through Karnataka State Police Official Mobile App.
2) Payment can be made through the Paytm app with details of the violation.
3) Dues can be paid by logging into the Karnataka One or Bangalore One website and entering the vehicle registration number.
4) Fines can also be paid on the first floor of the traffic control centre.
5) Provide details of your vehicle registration number at nearby traffic police stations. Receipt can be obtained by paying fine amount.. For more information contact 080-22942883 or 080-22943381.
As per the decision of the meeting held on date: 14.06.2023, it is requested to give a discount of 50% on the fine amount of the outstanding cases recorded in the traffic challan of the police department to apply only to the cases within date: 11.02.2023 and give time till date: 08.07.2023 to settle the cases. After scrutinizing the proposal, the Government has ordered a further discount of 50% on the fine amount of the outstanding cases registered in the Mobile e-challan of the Police Department to be applicable only to the cases registered in the mobile e-challan of the Police Department by Date: 11.02.2023. This discount is only for the cases settled up to Date: 09.09.2023 The Under Secretary to the Government has issued an order that it will be applicable.
