On a recent occasion, the Ammana Neravu Charitable Trust held a scholarship distribution program at Sundara Puranika Memorial Government High School in Pervaje, Karkala, where 22 SSLC students who scored over 90% were awarded scholarships of Rs. 5,000 each. Additionally, financial aid was provided to 5 students pursuing higher education. The same event also saw financial assistance being given for uniforms to the students of Siddhivinayaka Bala Bhajana Mandira. Dr. Raviraj Shetty, who inaugurated the program, emphasized that every student deserves an education, regardless of their circumstances. He encouraged students to take advantage of available opportunities and shape their own futures. Renowned senior advocate Shekhar Madiwala, the chief guest, praised the noble cause of providing educational assistance. He also commended Avinash Shetty, the trust president, for his exemplary social service at a young age, calling him a role model. The program, presided over by School SDMC President Anand Nayak, was attended by several notable guests, including Goa-based entrepreneur Ganesh Shetty Irvathoor and former member of the National Commission for Women Shamala Kundar. The students began the event with prayers, and Trust President Avinash Shetty welcomed the gathering. Vasanth M. compered the program and delivered the vote of thanks.
