Jharkhand: Teacher arrested for making obscene video of student and sharing it online
Dhanbad: A 28-year-old teacher was arrested in Jharkhand’s Dhanbad district on Monday for allegedly making an obscene video of a class 9 student and sharing it on social media, police said.
The student alleged that the teacher, who used to call her to his coaching center after classes, was engaging in ‘objectionable activities’ with the student and was blackmailing her by videotaping it and threatening to make it public.

On Sunday, the teacher posted the videos on social media, the student said.
An FIR was registered based on the complaint filed by the girl’s father. The accused teacher was arrested and the court remanded the accused to judicial custody.
Rajdev Singh, Officer-in-Charge of Dhansar Police Station, said that an investigation is underway into the girl’s allegation.
He said that the student had been going to the coaching center for the past one year.
