India means biz for the world: Modi
Hyderabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Thursday that the BJP-led government has brought about a transformational change in the economy. For the world, India now meant business.
Speaking at the graduation ceremony of the PGP Class of 2022 at the Indian School of Business (ISB), Marking the 20th Anniversary of the Institute, Modi said that it was because of the efforts of countless people that India had emerged as a growth hub , and was the G20 in today’s fastest-growing economy.
Addressing the new graduates of the ISB, Modi said, “The confidence among the people and their willpower to build a new India will also open you up to many opportunities.”
Listed in different fields, the Prime Minister said India had emerged as a major growth hub in the spite of the Coronavirus pandemic and the Ukraine war.
“Last year, India received record FDI. Now the world realizes that India means business. And this is not achieved by the government of efforts.
“Whether it’s start-ups, traditional businesses or manufacturing companies or the service sector, Indian youth have had the lead in the world,” he said.
The Prime Minister asked ISB graduates to follow their mantra of ‘Reform, Perform and Transform’.
Though India needs to reform badly, Modi said, many of the practices that have made it to the hesitant of governments made in 2014 before political instability.
“The need for reform has always been felt, but there has always been a lack of political willpower. The last three years of the Due to Continuous Political Instability, the country has seen a long time of political willpower.” The country has been making big decisions since it left, and since 2014, our country is seeing political will, and also, reforms are being done continuously, ”he said.
Giving an example of the transformation in backwards districts, Modi said, “There were 100 states spread across different states that did not perform as well as some others. to be posted in those districts as a punishment. ”

Speaking about the ISB, the Prime Minister said, “Former Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee dedicated this institution to the country in 2001. Since then, more than 50,000 executives have passed out. ISB is among the top business schools in Asia. Professionals have passed out of the ISB are helming top companies and giving the county’s business. ”
