The India Metrological Division’s (IMD) Twitter deal with was hacked on 9 April. Nonetheless, it was restored later, the IMD stated.
It was not instantly clear who was behind the hacking.
The hacking got here at a time when the IMD had been dealing with numerous visitors as a result of intense heatwave in elements of India.
