Mumbai-based actor Harsh Chhaya believes that younger generations are not obligated to recognize senior actors, regardless of their fame. In an interview with IANS, Harsh shared his perspective on the topic, stating that every generation grows up watching its own stars. The actor, who has had a versatile career across television, films, and OTT, expressed that he does not take it personally if someone doesn’t know him. Harsh reflected on his own experience when he first entered the entertainment industry, recalling that he only knew a few big stars like Dilip Kumar and Amitabh Bachchan. He noted that the biggest stars of his time were actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Vinod Khanna, and Rishi Kapoor. Harsh recently reprised his role as Papaji in the fourth season of the crime thriller web series ‘Undekhi’, which has gained popularity among audiences. While some viewers have discovered him through ‘Undekhi’, Harsh says it’s not their responsibility to know him if they haven’t seen his work. With a career spanning multiple platforms, Harsh Chhaya has built a reputation for his memorable performances in television shows like ‘Hasratein’ and ‘Astitva…Ek Prem Kahani’, as well as films like ‘Company’ and ‘Manto’.
