Harley Davidson x440 Booking Begins in India.
World’s largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters, Hero MotoCorp and iconic American motorcycle maker Harley Davidson have launched their co-developed premium motorcycle Harley-Davidson X440 in India.
It is the first premium motorcycle to be introduced under a licensing agreement between the two brands. In the presence of investors, media, distributors, partners and Jochen Zeitz, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Harley-Davidson, Dr. The motorcycle was unveiled in the presence of Pawan Munjal – Executive Chairman of Hero MotoCorp.
The motorcycle manufacturing unit is located at the company’s Garden Factory in Neemrana, Rajasthan. Hero MotoCorp Executive Chairman Dr. Pawan Munjal said, “The launch of the Harley-Davidson X440 marks a significant milestone in our journey and lays a strong foundation for our future growth.”

How much does a Harley Davidson bike cost?
The most anticipated motorcycle of the year will be available in three variants. Denim, Vivid and S . The three variant bikes will be available at the Harley-Davidson dealer network across the country for Rs 2,29,000/- (Denim), 2,49,000/- (Vivid) and 2,69,000/- (S) respectively.
6-speed transmission with optimized gearing
The Harley-Davidson X440 bike has a 440cc oil-cooled, long-stroke BSVI (OBD II) and E20 compliant engine. The engine punches best power output of 27 bhp and best-in-class peak torque of 38 Nm. The motorcycle offers a very flat torque curve, producing ~90% of its maximum torque from less than 2000rpm.
A 6-speed transmission with optimized gearing enables smooth highway cruising and city commuting. A wide and flat handlebar keeps the rider in a commanding position on the bike. The seat profile ensures no discomfort during long rides.
The motorcycle delivers class-leading braking performance with its 320 mm front disc and 240 mm rear disc brakes with excellent levels of brake power, modulation and feel. There is a combination of 18″ front and 17″ rear wheels. The wide tires (100/90 front) and 140/70 (rear) make it easy to maintain balance.

All-metal front fender, rear fender, fuel tank and side covers emphasize the bold character of the motorcycle. The Harley-Davidson X440 features unmistakable Harley-Davidson styling cues such as the tank design and uncompromising signature Harley-Davidson exhaust note.

has Turn Signals: The classic retro shape of the LED turn signals is designed with collimator technology for consistent ring illumination. The 3.5″ speedometer has a classic design language with a TFT digital display.
It has ignition alert, panic alert, crash alert, topple alert and low fuel alert. There is a system that provides anti-theft alarm, battery removal alarm, geofence alarm. Top speed, trip analysis driving score, Bluetooth enabled.
