GTTC Udupi Opens Doors for Diploma Applicants in Mechatronics and Tool Making

Udupi: The Government Tooling and Training Center (GTTC) at Kolalagiri, Uppur, is inviting applications for remaining seats in three diploma programmes. Operated under the State Skill Development, Entrepreneurship and Livelihood Department, the institute offers Diploma in Mechatronics, Diploma in Tool and Die Making, and Diploma in Precision Manufacturing. These courses are being given first priority for seat allotment.

Students who have completed Class 10 or an equivalent examination are eligible to apply. The diploma spans three years, followed by a one-year internship at reputed organisations. During the internship, a stipend is provided, and participants receive 100% placement assurance based on their performance.

For candidates from outer districts or remote rural areas who cannot commute daily, the centre provides hostel accommodation. The campus also houses a fully equipped computerised lab with modern machinery.
