Griha Jyoti Scheme; Announcement of Last date for Registration

Bangalore, July 13; One of the 5 guarantees given by the Karnataka Congress is the ‘Griha Jyoti’ scheme. People are already submitting applications to be beneficiaries of the scheme. The government has given the deadline to register to become a scheme beneficiary.

Energey Minister K. J. George gave information about this on Wednesday in the assembly proceedings. The Minister spoke about this during the discussion on ‘Griha Jyoti’ scheme. Customers who have not yet registered should apply soon.

The minister said, “Earlier the last date was not fixed for the application for the Griha Jyoti Yojana. Now, we have decided to fix the last date. Accordingly, July 27 will be the last day for submitting the application.”

 People should not worry

People should not worry if the application is not submitted within the deadline given by the government. The Minister said, “Electricity Adalat will be conducted for two months after the last date for submission of Griha Jyoti application to bring those who are out of the scope of the scheme under the scheme”.

 

The application submission for becoming a beneficiary of the ‘Griha Jyoti’ scheme has started from June 18. Already more than 1 crore people have applied for the scheme. This scheme will be implemented in August and registration is mandatory to be a beneficiary of the scheme.

People can easily apply online by visiting the Seva Sindhu portal (https://sevasindhugs.karnataka.gov.in/) and giving the details to become the beneficiary of the scheme.

The Energy Department has also allowed submission of application at your nearest electricity office, Bangalore One, Gram One and Karnataka One Centre. Earlier it said that there is no deadline to register for the scheme. Now the final date has been fixed on July 27.

‘Griha Jyoti’ is an ambitious project of Karnataka Government. Rural People Scheme beneficiaries are also allowed to apply at Bapuji Seva Kendra in Gram Panchayats. But to submit the applications in this center 20 rupees per application. A fee of Rs.

Beneficiaries applying for the scheme will get zero consumption electricity bill in August. * Account no

* Account holder name as in Eskom

* Account holder address as per Eskom

* Name of Eskom1

* Type of user (there are two options Tenant/Owner).

* Aadhaar Number

* Name of applicant

* Telephone number for communication

Siddaramaiah appeal; On July 6, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah had tweeted, “More than 1 crore families in the state have successfully applied for our government’s ambitious Griha Jyoti scheme. Our aim is to deliver the scheme to all eligible families through minimum requirements and a simple application process. Those who are covered by the scheme should apply without fail and help others to apply. Let the light of peace arise in the lives of the people who are in distress.”
