Mahesh was arrested by the Kuvempunagar police who conducted an operation on the basis of a complaint filed by a resident of Mysore named Hemalatha, who fell into his fraud net. He used to meet women through Shaadi.com. Especially widows and divorced women were targeted. Contacted him and acted like a terrible good man. He used to tell lies based on the interest of any woman he met. He used to introduce himself to one as a doctor, while to another he introduced himself as an engineer.
Similarly, Mahesh, who came in contact with Hemalata on Shaadi.com, claimed that he was a doctor. Hemalatha naturally believed him. The acquaintance grew between them and marriage was decided. Both Hemalatha and Mahesh got married on January 1 this year in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. After that, Mahesh’s real form came out.
First he demanded 70 lakh rupees from Hemalata. He told me to open a clinic and give money. But Hemalatha did not agree to it. When Hemalata did not pay despite asking, Mahesh got angry and stole her money and gold ornaments and ran away. Later, Hemalatha filed a complaint at the Kuvempunagar police station. When he was arrested and interrogated, information about so many cases became available. It is known that Divya also filed a complaint against Mahesh in Bangalore.
