New Delhi – On Saturday, June 6, 2026, supporters of the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) marched toward Jantar Mantar demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. Leaders Neha Bora, advocate Prashant Bhushan, activist Yogendra Yadav and CPI(ML) Liberation General Secretary Dipankar Bhattacharya joined the procession, which later became the template for a set of free online video games.

Three titles have surfaced so far. “Jantar Mantar Chalo” lets players choose the role of a protester or a Delhi Police officer, while “Bhaag Neha Bhaag” follows AISA president Neha Bora as she tries to reach the historic site. The third game, “Jantar Mantar to Jail,” casts gamers as CJP members Abhijeet Dipke, Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka, who must dodge falling jail bars and police while collecting virtual coins labelled “Accountability” and “Democracy.”

The concept originated with 27‑year‑old Suraj Kushwah of Bareilly, a cloud‑gaming employee who watched the news coverage and, out of sarcasm, decided to build a game. Using artificial intelligence tools, he assembled the first version of “Jantar Mantar Chalo” in just one and a half days.

Gameplay mirrors real‑world tactics. Tear‑gas clouds slow protest avatars, water cannons act as moving obstacles, and media interviews boost a protester’s influence, attracting larger crowds. The virtual map reproduces landmarks such as India Gate, Badarpur border, nearby police stations and detention centres, as well as scenes captured in photographs of security forces stopping CJP supporters on Sansad Marg on July 20, 2026, and police using water cannons on students near Dak Bungalow crossing in Patna on August 25, 2026.

Kushwah shared the game on social platforms, where it quickly went viral. At its peak, about 2,000 users played simultaneously, while an average of 500 logins are recorded each day. The developer says the initial sarcastic tone has shifted, and he is already planning updates to reflect ongoing developments.
