Free bus service effect: How many people traveled by government transport?

Bengaluru: As promised during the Karnataka elections, the Congress government has implemented free bus service in the state. Thus, after the implementation of the scheme, crores of women have benefited from the scheme. Thus the number of people traveling in government transport has created a new history due to the effect of the free bus service!

Yes, not even 10 days have passed since the Congress government led by CM Siddaramaiah implemented the free bus service for the women of the state. A huge demand has already been created for government transport. After the free bus travel for women started, the number of passengers of government transport buses in the state has increased by 35 to 40 lakh. Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC), North West Karnataka Transport Corporation including BMTC and Kalyan Karnataka Transport Corporation buses are also crowded now (Free Bus).

A sea of women to the temple!

The scheme has been implemented to help the working class i.e. women workers. Before the implementation of the Shakti Yojana, an average of 75 to 80 lakh passengers were traveling in 4 corporations every day. But after the implementation of this scheme, 1.16 crore passengers are traveling in 4 corporations. KSRTC figures are giving information that the number of daily passengers has increased by 35 to 40 lakhs. In particular, the number of people going to religious fields has also increased tremendously. Women are visiting religious places with their families and worshiping the God of their faith.

Train revenue hit!

Thus many changes can be seen in the background of women getting free travel service. It seems that the number of train passengers has reduced to a great extent due to the Shakti Yojana. After the start of free bus service in the state, a difference of 15 to 20 percent can be seen in the number of train passengers in the state. Out of this MEMU and DEMU trains have less and more passengers. Before the implementation of Shakti Yojana, 2.35 lakh people used to buy tickets and travel daily. That number is said to have come down to 2 lakh. This has led to a huge change in the energy scheme in the state.

Free bus service

1 crore people traveled yesterday!

Thus, 1,06,36,208 people have traveled by government buses in Karnataka’s 4 transport corporations on a single day yesterday. Among these 54,30,150 women are also included. 12,88,81,618 will be borne by the state government for the free bus service for women. Atta BJP is accusing Congress of bankrupting the state through Bitti Yojana. But only the Congress government is saying that it is working for development through its free schemes. Between the fight of these two parties, it is known through statistics that only women are using the free bus service on a large scale.
