Boeing India and SELCO Basis arrange 100-oxygenated mattress facility at Yelahanka campus of Karnataka Energy Company Ltd. in Bengaluru
Finance and Company Affairs Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Thursday visited Boeing India and the SELCO Basis-funded 100-oxygenated mattress facility at Karnataka Energy Company Ltd. (KPCL), Yelahanka campus in Bengaluru.
Boeing India and SELCO Basis have collectively funded the hospital. Medical doctors for You (DFY) present the mandatory employees and care, and KPCL has supplied the required land to arrange the hospital.
Mrs Sitharaman mentioned, “It’s commendable that industries and NGOs have collaborated with the federal government in our battle in opposition to COVID-19. Due to Boeing India, SELCO Basis and Medical doctors for You (DFY) for constructing an oxygenated super-speciality COVID-19 care facility within the Karnataka Energy Company Ltd. (KPCL), campus in Yelahanka.”
The hospital was inbuilt lower than 20 days. Of the 100 oxygen beds, 10 beds are devoted for ICU companies and 20 beds for the Excessive Dependency Models (HDU) ward.
The hospital would offer triage, donning and doffing, pharmacy, laboratory, relaxation areas, nurse stations and assembly rooms for medical employees. The DFY crew would comprise specialist and generalist docs, paramedics, and facility administration employees.
Boeing’s funding would offer medical gear, together with CT scanners, ventilators, oxygen cylinders and concentrators, movement meters, and ambulances, in accordance with a press launch.
