On Saturday, August 1, a tragic incident occurred in Hyderabad’s Talabkatta area, resulting in the death of 40-year-old Tahera Bee, a native of Osmanabad, Maharashtra. Tahera Bee was electrocuted while performing a routine task at her residence in Bhavaninagar police limits. The incident happened when she was washing clothes, and she was immediately rushed to a private hospital for first aid. However, her condition worsened, and she was shifted to Osmania General Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries. According to the Bhavaninagar police, Tahera Bee received fatal electric shock while washing clothes, and a case of suspicious death has been registered under Section 194 of the Bharatiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita. The police are currently conducting a postmortem examination to determine the exact cause of death. The incident has sent shockwaves through the community, highlighting the importance of electrical safety in residential areas.
