Abhijeet Dipke, convenor of the Cockroach Janta Party, has demanded the removal of a police sub-inspector from his home security detail in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, alleging that the officer is being rude to visitors and restricting access to his residence. The incident occurred on Friday, with Dipke claiming that the officer, identified as Suresh, was preventing people from meeting him and trying to monitor those entering his home in the Waluj MIDC area. Dipke, who has been provided security due to threats and crowd management issues, also alleged that state CID personnel in plainclothes were roaming near his residence and reporting back to a social media group named ‘Hit Spray’. Videos of Dipke confronting the PSI and speaking to a senior police official have gone viral on social media platforms. In the videos, Dipke is heard reprimanding the PSI and seeking his removal from the security staff. He also complained about the alleged presence of CID personnel near his home, claiming that they were sending reports from the location. Despite attempts to contact him, DCP Pankaj Atulkar, whose jurisdiction covers the area, was not available for comment on the allegations made by Dipke.
