Delhi June 15: A fire broke out at a coaching center in Mukherjee Nagar, Delhi. Students are being pulled out with the help of a rope. It is feared that many students are trapped inside and 11 fire tenders have carried out rescue operation at the spot. This has created anxiety among students and people.

The news of some students getting injured is also coming to the fore. The incident took place near Gnana Building near Batra Cinema. Some students were injured while climbing down from the third floor.
In a video that has gone viral, thick smoke can be seen engulfing the educational institute from the fire. In addition, students can be seen descending from the bridge using ropes. No casualties have been reported so far. Delhi Fire Service Director Atul Garg said that a call about the fire was received at 12.27 pm and a total of 11 fire tenders were sent to the service.
“The fire started from an electricity meter and has now been put out. Four students were injured in the incident. The fire was not that big,” Director of Fire Services Atul Garg told India Today.
“A few students were injured while escaping from the burning building today. No one is trapped inside the building. The fire broke out in the electricity meter of the building. The students are panicking due to rising smoke,” Delhi Police told ANI.
