On a recent day, Mittabail in Bantwal taluk witnessed the birth of the Dakshina Kannada District Mittabail Central Muslim Jamaat Federation, a culmination of efforts by Jamaat representatives from various mosques in the region. Muhammad Sagar, President of Mittabail Jamaat, presided over the consultative meeting held at Mittabail Community Hall. The meeting highlighted the need for a unified body to facilitate mutual coordination and cooperation among mosques in Bantwal taluk and surrounding areas. The primary objectives of this federation include promoting education, madrasa development, welfare of Ustads, and empowerment of youth. The meeting was inaugurated by Ustad Abdul Razak Nizami and commenced with a prayer by Muhyiddin Juma Masjid Mittabail Mudarris Bahu Umarul Farooq Faizi. Shaikhuna Abdul Khader Bambrana Ustad outlined the framework and objectives of the federation, while Mittabail Jamaat General Secretary Akbar Ali presented the subject matter. The meeting concluded with a unanimous decision to form the Dakshina Kannada District Mittabail Central Muslim Jamaat Federation, with Mittabail as its center. A separate meeting will be held soon to select the federation’s executive committee and office bearers. The gathering also discussed the Qazi matter, deciding that Jamaats accepting the Mittabail Qazi must submit a resolution copy to the Mittabail Jamaat by July 31. The meeting saw participation from presidents, office bearers, and representatives of most invited Jamaats, who expressed support and offered valuable suggestions.
