Bangalore; The strategy of the Congress in the assembly elections was fruitful and a stable government has come into existence in the state. Now Congress is making a mega plan to win the Lok Sabha elections. On the one hand, all the like-minded parties have joined together and formed a coalition called INDIA. INDIA is gearing up to defeat the BJP-led NDA in power at the centre. On the other hand, KPCC president and DCM DK Shivakumar has made a mega plan to win the highest number of seats in Karnataka. According to official sources, DK Shivakumar has made a huge strategy to do major surgery in KPCC, District and Block Congress Committees.

There are only seven or eight months left for the Lok Sabha elections. Thus all the parties are gearing up for the elections. Congress has a fire test in this state. Whereas in the last Lok Sabha elections, Congress won only one seat in the state. There are 28 Lok Sabha constituencies in the state, in which the BJP won 25 seats, while JDS-1, a BJP-backed independent, won one. But this time, Congress is gearing up to win maximum number of seats. For this, KPCC President DK Shivakumar, who is also the Deputy Chief Minister, is weaving many strategies. As the first part of it, KPCC has proposed to bring changes in the District Congress Committees and Block Congress Committees. D.K.Shivakumar has thought of inducting newcomers in all the committees.

KPCC had five working presidents. In which Dhravanarayan died prematurely. The rest are Ramalingareddy, Salim Ahmed, Satish Jarakiholi and Ishwar Khandre. Among them, Ramalingareddy, Satish Jarakiholi and Ishwar Khandre are ministers. Thus, it is known that D.K.Sivakumar has proposed to give the post of working president to other competent party organisers. In addition to this, the presidents and office bearers of many units of KPCC have also changed, and they are ready to select those who can organize the party efficiently for the Lok Sabha elections, who have the power to attract voters, and who can give strength to the assigned position.

There will also be changes in Congress District Committees and Block Congress Committees. In many places the incumbents are inactive. They are more competent than the officials in some other places. In some other places, the incumbents are being given different responsibilities. In this background, work is going on to change all the units of the Congress and make the party organization agile.

There are 28 Lok Sabha constituencies in the state, in which KPCC president DK Shivakumar has planned to win at least 25 seats. In that regard, the task is being given to find those who have the strength to work hard and organize the party. Youngsters, Enthusiasts, people connected people are given more preference.
