Bangalore Covid positivity is declining in the state, chief minister BS Yeddyurappa on Tuesday said in a statement.

Speaking to reporters, Yeddyurappa said the minister and officials would be consulted for information on Kovid’s control. The second step is thinking about what all the exemptions can be.

Already in the first phase, 19 districts have been relaxed. Semi-lockdown has continued in the remaining 11 districts (Chikkamagaluru, Shivamogga, Davangere, Mysore, Chamarajanagar, Hassan, Dakshina Kannada district, Bangalore rural, Mandya, Belgaum and Kodagu). Thus, more districts will be added to the existing 19 districts from the 21st of this month. The decision will be taken to check the covariance rate of the districts.

Earlier, Chief Minister Yeddyurappa said that the people will follow the Corona rules and the rules will be relaxed only if the positivity levels are reduced. Kovid said the decision would be taken only after consultations with technical advisory committee members.

“We are very careful even after the lockdown restrictions have been relaxed in some districts,” Dr. Sudhakar said. Tests are conducted in an effective manner. About 1.32 lakh people were being tested in the state on Tuesday alone.
