On June 26, Gippy Grewal and Sargun Mehta starrer Carry On Jatta 4 hit theaters, bringing back the beloved duo of Gippy Grewal and Binnu Dhillon. The film has been generating massive excitement ahead of its release, with many expecting a strong start. As per Sacnilk, the film collected Rs 1.85 crore net on its opening day, playing across around 1,300 shows in India. By Day 7, the film is running across 68 shows and has collected a net of Rs 0.01 Cr, taking total India gross collections to Rs 13.70 Cr and total India net to Rs 11.46 Cr. The film has also performed well overseas, collecting Rs 0.75 Cr on Day 6, with a total overseas gross of Rs 11.75 Cr. The worldwide gross collection now stands at Rs 25.44 Cr. A look at the Carry On Jatta franchise’s opening day performance reveals an interesting trend, with Carry On Jatta 3 collecting Rs 4.55 crore, Carry On Jatta 2 collecting Rs 2.52 crore, and the first film collecting Rs 61 lakh. Carry On Jatta 4’s opening day collection of Rs 1.85 crore, although lower than its predecessors, still marks one of the biggest opening days for a Punjabi film in 2026.
