Seasoned seamers Stuart Broad and James Anderson were included in the 13-member England squad for the Test series against New Zealand beginning on June 2.
After England’s 4-0 series loss to Australia in earlier this year, Broad and Anderson were axed for the Test series in the Caribbean which England lost.
The three-Test series against New Zealand will be the first assignment for new captain Ben Stokes and coach Brendon McCullum.
