Actually, when Mika Singh was cutting the cake. Rakhi Sawant was standing with him. After cutting the cake, Mika Singh forcibly kisses Rakhi. Rakhi could not even react to this. A case was registered against Maka Singh in Mumbai regarding this matter. The charges were framed under sections 354 (molestation) and 323 (assault) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
Rakhi gave the affidavit
In April this year, the singer moved the High Court to quash the FIR filed by the police and the subsequent charge sheet. The High Court on Thursday considered the affidavit submitted by Rakhi and said that Rakhi and Mika have resolved their differences amicably. Their affidavit states, ‘The entire controversy arose out of misunderstanding and misconception on our part.’
Court dismissed the case
The Bombay High Court has dismissed the case against singer Mika Singh for forcibly kissing Rakhi Sawant. A division bench of Justice AS Gadkari and Justice SG Dige passed the judgment after considering an affidavit submitted by Rakhi. The High Court ordered quashing of the FIR after Rakhi’s lawyer did not oppose the plea.
