Karnataka Deputy Speaker and Bhatkal-Honnavar MLA Mankal Vaidya recently confirmed that a new power grid under construction on Sagar Road in Bhatkal is nearing completion. Speaking from Dubai at the residence of Bhatkal Muslim Khaleej Council (BMKC) Secretary General Atiqur Rahman Muniri, Vaidya expressed confidence that the remaining work would conclude within three months, significantly improving electricity availability for the region.
