Bengaluru auto driver

Sometimes the best part of a trip isn’t the sights, it is the absolute goodness of people you bump into along the way.

While visiting Bengaluru for a short getaway, traveler Chetna Saraf captured a quick moment from her Uber ride that has since struck a chord with thousands online.

As Chetna and her companion were heading out for lunch, she noticed their auto driver, a man named Tanzeem, maneuvering unusually close to a woman riding a scooter. Her initial reaction was pure confusion until she realized what was actually going on.

The woman’s scooter had completely broken down, leaving her stranded in the middle of city traffic.

Without hesitating, Tanzeem stepped in to help. For the next 10 to 15 minutes, he carefully navigated his auto while using his foot and occasionally his hand to push and steady her broken vehicle, guiding her safely through the streets until they reached a repair spot.

Chetna caught a small slice of the moment on video before putting her phone away to just appreciate it in real time. Sharing the clip on Instagram, she tagged Uber India directly, urging them to recognize Tanzeem’s extra mile kindness.

“His name is Tanzeem, and I really hope this reaches the right people and he gets everything he deserves. Uber India, this man deserves a raise!”

In a world full of rushed commutes, Tanzeem’s quiet act of empathy is a simple, refreshing reminder of how much a little neighborhood kindness still matters.
