On Friday, Basheer Bantwal, Assistant General Manager of Dubai Aster Hospital and a prominent businessman, handed over an ambulance to Izzathunnoor Yateem Khana in Lorettopadavu – Tippu Nagar, Bantwal. The ambulance, dedicated to public service, was donated in memory of his recently deceased brother, Marhoom Abdurrahman. Bantwal stated that the ambulance is available to anyone in need, regardless of their background, and expressed hope that it would provide healthcare services to people of all communities. The event was attended by several notable figures, including Loretta Church priest James D’Souza, who emphasized the importance of humanity and service to the weak and poor. Sayyid Asgar Ali Thangal Ganjimath performed the Dua, while Bantwal Central Juma Masjid Mudarris Abdul Samad Yamani, Adyar – Kannur Juma Masjid Mudarris Ansar Faizi Burhani, and retired teacher Prafulla, spoke and appreciated Bantwal’s service activities. The program was compered by State trainer and resource person Rafeeq Master, and also featured a Qira’at recitation by student Sadath Kavalakatte. Other attendees included former Bantwal Municipal Council member A. Govinda Prabhu, Yateem Khana Committee President Abdul Hameed, and several prominent local figures. Qalandar Sa’adi, the teacher of Yateem Khana, delivered the introductory speech, highlighting the significance of the occasion.
