Mumbai: The Bombay High Court has granted relief to Bollywood actor Salman Khan on April 05 (UNI). A journalist has filed a complaint against actor Salman Khan for allegedly assaulting her in 2019. The Bombay High Court today suspended a magistrate’s court order on a summons and criminal case against an actor and one of his bodyguards. The court had summoned the two men to appear before the court on April 5.

Bollywood actor Salman Khan has been ordered by a Mumbai court to appear on April 5 for allegedly misbehaving with a journalist. However, Salman Khan had moved the High Court challenging the order. The actor, in his application, had appealed to the High Court to quash the lower court order. He also demanded that the summons be blocked. The Bombay High Court, which is presently investigating, has blocked the summons issued by the magistrate.

So what is the incident?
The case took place in 2019 when journalist Ashok Pandey filed a complaint against Salman Khan. In a complaint filed by the journalist, “We saw Salman Khan on his way to Kandivali from Juhu with his cameraman. This time I wanted to capture a video of Salman Khan cycling. This was approved by the actor’s bodyguard. But when it started to make a video, Salman Khan opposed it. The actor has assaulted her and then stole her phone, ”the journalist alleged. Salman Khan’s bodyguard is also accused of assaulting a journalist.

Following this allegation of journalist, Salman Khan has been charged in several sections. The actor has been charged under Section 504 of the Indian Penal Code  and 506
