Andhra Pradesh: Class 10 student returning from tuition burnt alive after being doused with petrol

New Delhi:  A shocking incident has come to light from Andhra Pradesh. A person has sprinkled petrol on a class 10 student and set him on fire. The victim student was seriously injured in the incident and was later admitted to a nearby hospital. According to the information received from the police, this incident is being reported from Bapatla district of Andhra Pradesh. According to the police, the accused sprinkled petrol on the student and set him on fire when he was going to tuition. The child victim has died in this incident.

 

After getting the information about the incident, the victim was hurriedly admitted to a nearby hospital. Where he died during treatment. Police investigation so far has revealed that the accused has been identified as Venkateswara. At present, the police have started their investigation by registering a case against the accused under the POCSO Act.

At the same time, the family members of the victim allege that the accused Venkateswara was harassing the victim’s sister. Because of this, the class 10th student had warned Venkateswara not to do so. However, the police is currently probing the family’s allegations. Regarding this matter, Bapatla SP Vakul Jindal told NDTV that a murder case and a case under POCSO was also registered. Police is interrogating the suspected accused.
